Mary Langer Thompson hosted the first poetry salon at Marie Calender’s years ago and she continues to host and inspire our Writers Club poetry critique group dubbed “The Poemsmiths.” Over the years, although new participants have come and gone, seven “alumni” poets have stayed on. This zoom meeting showcased the Poemsmith’s work read by the poets, plus information on how YOU can become more involved with poetry.
