My name is Mike Apodaca and I love stories. My background is in theater, retail sales, ministry, and education. There are certain things that shape us, that make us what we are. First and foremost, I am shaped by my relationship with God through His Son, Jesus. Being a Christian has been the most important thing in my life for almost fifty years. I have a Masters degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. I was a Youth Minister and then a senior pastor for nine years. When we moved to the High Desert, I became a teacher in the public school system, something I did for thirty years. My background in theater helped so much in teaching. After all, what is teaching elementary students other than a performance that lasts 1000 hours? I am now retired and am enjoying the freedom to do more writing. I started writing over thirty years ago, on my mom’s suggestion. After writing two books, I took a long break to deal with some important life matters.  I started writing again when my son came up with the idea for Godsend. He asked me to write it and we worked on it collaboratively. I‘ve continued with the books, writing Godsend 2 and 3. I’m currently working on Godsend 4. There will be six books in the series. Lastly, no bio would be complete without family. I have been in a loving marriage with Debi Apodaca for 37 years. We have two adult children, Jeremy and Nicole, and two beautiful grandchildren, Cecelia and Owen.

Godsend 1: Alex McKendrick’s a very average teenager. In fact, if his picture wasn’t in his school’s yearbook where all the other headshots are, he wouldn’t be in there are all. There’s only one thing that sets Alex apart—he’s been called by God to fight demons and save the world.

Godsend 2: Satan’s plan to bring back all the demons from Hell in order to rule heaven and earth can only be stopped by Alex McKendrick and his friends. This book has bigger threats, meaner more powerful demons, and worst of all, Alex has to singlehandedly fight one of the most vicious demons ever—Leviathan. Will he survive?

Godsend 3: The team of Christian warriors are split up. Two are sent to Washington DC, two to New York, and two to Los Angeles. Their mission, to stop Satan and the demons from getting a foothold in the culture. This is a book with many twists and surprises.
