Aylin Belle Amie
Aylin was born in London, England, after World War II. Soon, she immigrated to North America with her mother and started writing at age nine. She dabbled in poetry in high school, earned an AA in Humanities and graduated from nursing school.
Following this, Aylin study music, foreign languages, and cultures in Canada and Europe. After the birth of her daughter, Aylin continued to write poetry and began working with children. Upon semi-retirement, more time became available for artistic and academic endeavors. She earned a certificate in preschool teaching and now studies literature and sings with choral groups. Aylin also spends time in Las Vegas and Victoria, BC, Canada. She finds inspiration in both the natural surroundings and homey sceneries of all these places. |
